About this adventure

On one morning of its Santa Trolley season, the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum runs sensory-friendly rides with Santa for neurodivergent visitors and their families. Lights are dimmed, sound is quieter and fewer passengers ride each antique streetcar, and families can borrow Sensory Friendly Bags with fidget toys and noise-cancelling headphones. The conductors, elves and Santa have been trained to make visits safe and comfortable. Children meet Santa, chat with him on the ride and take a family photo, then explore the Festival of Trees in the Trolley Display Building, the holiday toy train layout and a LEGO display by Steel City LUG, make a keepsake ornament, and have hot chocolate and cookies. There are two departures: 8:55 AM and a 9:10 AM car that is wheelchair-accessible by lift.
