About this adventure

The Sewickley Valley YMCA's Thanksgiving-morning 5K run and walk starts and finishes at War Memorial Park and welcomes runners, walkers, strollers and families from across the region. Registration includes Turkey Trot swag, a timed bib, a supported course and finish-line refreshments; the timed 5K starts at 8:30 a.m., and awards follow at 9:20. Families can skip the race-morning lines by picking up packets on Wednesday, November 25, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Walter J. Brannon Community Activity Center on Blackburn Road; race-day registration and pickup run from 7 to 8 a.m. Race fees support Faith In Action, the YMCA's free program that drives older adults to medical appointments and other essential services.
