About this adventure

The Big Beaver Falls Education Foundation's 12th annual Tiger Trot fills a Saturday morning in Beaver Falls with a 5K race and a 1.5-mile fun walk, and this year it adds a free race just for little ones. The Tiger Cub .05K is a short, untimed sprint around the parking lot to the finish line for children 10 and under, held at 9:30 a.m. before the main start; it is noncompetitive and free, so there are no shirts, race bags or prizes for it. Older kids and teens can run the 5K or walk the 1.5-mile course at the student rate while parents run or walk alongside. Race-day registration opens at 8:30 a.m., and the 5K and fun walk begin at 10 a.m.
