About this adventure
Saint Bartholomew Church in Crabtree holds its eighth Ugly Christmas Sweater 5K and 2-Mile Walk on the first Saturday of December, and the dress code is in the name: prizes go to the ugliest Christmas sweaters. Families can run the 5K or take the 2-mile walk, both starting at 11 a.m., and the awards include an age group for 14 and under in both the run and the walk. Registration and packet pick-up open at 9:30 a.m. in the church's Marian Hall, with early pick-up the evening before from 6 to 8 p.m. After the race everyone heads back to Marian Hall for a luncheon and awards. Register before November 23 to get the ugly-Christmas-sweater long-sleeve shirt.
