Free monthly Saturday nature exploration at Columbia Springs, a 100-acre natural site, historic fish hatchery and outdoor education center. Check in at the table in front of the Visitor Center for maps and activities, then choose your own adventure with volunteer-led activities and guided walks. Themes: Oct. 17 '(Not So) Scaries', Nov. 21 'Fish Games', Dec. 19 'Evergreen Tree Communities'. Rain or shine; free parking. Most activities designed for elementary-aged children; all ages welcome.
