Portland Child Art Studio, a nonprofit art studio for ages 3-16, offers weekly drop-in 'Art Exploration for Children and Parents' classes on Thursday and Friday mornings for young children who need or want a caregiver present. Its regular preschool, homeschool and after-school classes are small drop-off classes (6-12 kids) run by semester, with single drop-in visits allowed for the current week only. Partial scholarships are always available.
