Portland Japanese Garden

Japanese garden in Washington Park with timed-entry tickets (book up to 10 days in advance; tickets non-refundable). Admission includes the garden, gift shop, Umami Café and art exhibitions, and visitors can book a free public tour with daily admission. Public hours shown for mid-October were 10:00 am – 4:30 pm (closed Tuesday 10/13), with guests allowed up to one hour after closing to enjoy the garden; member-only hours Wednesday–Monday 8:00–10:00am. The garden participates in Arts for All for SNAP recipients. Holiday closures: November 26 and December 25. Veterans Day: free admission for active military, veterans and accompanying families.
