Every Tuesday and Wednesday morning the historic Oaks Park roller rink opens just for children six and younger and their grown-ups. Little skaters go at their own pace to toddler tunes, join a family group skating lesson with Coach Amy, play skate games with Chipper the Squirrel, and take a snack break at the cafe. Shoes and strollers are allowed on the main skating floor during this session, so non-skating toddlers and babies can join in. One adult skates free with each paid child; older siblings and extra adults are welcome when coming with a child six or under, at regular admission rates. A good active indoor option for rainy days.
