About this adventure
Downtown Providence's outdoor ice rink at Kennedy Plaza opens for the 2026–2027 winter season from late November to early March, weather permitting. Each admission ticket gives three hours on the ice (no exit and re-entry). Rental skates, helmets for all ages, skate aids for beginners and lockers can be rented at the ticket office. On weekends the rink also runs ice bumper cars: shared bumper cars Saturday and Sunday 10am–2pm, and full-ice bumper cars 9–10am when not booked for private rentals. Group and private Learn to Skate lessons for all ages are run with Fireworks Skating Academy and booked online. Reservations can be made online; season passes are sold only at the ticket office.
