About this adventure
Just before Veterans Day, Oberlin Regional Library invites elementary-age children to learn about military families and celebrate them by making star-and-streamer wreaths. The free 45-minute session is part of the library's K-5th Adventures series of reading and hands-on activities and works well for kids with a parent, grandparent or neighbor who has served. Children take their wreath home, perhaps as a thank-you gift for a veteran.
