About this adventure
Raleigh's best-known holiday tradition turns Pullen Park into a lit-up winter wonderland on December evenings. Each ticket includes a timed ride on the Holiday Express train through the decorated park, the Enchanted Elevator 'to the North Pole', a walk through Santa's Toy Shop in a caboose (with a glimpse of Santa), Candy Cane Lane, Glistening Glen, Arctic Avenue, the Igloo Experience hosted by the Rotary Club of Crabtree, carousel rides, games, crafts and a Yeti scavenger hunt. Nearly everything is outdoors, so dress warmly; it runs rain or shine in light weather. Every guest aged one and older needs a ticket, even if not riding the train, and you must board at the train time on your ticket. Two sensory-friendly sessions (1–4 pm on Dec. 6 and Dec. 13) limit noise and crowds. The City reports all 2026 tickets are sold out; tickets may only be resold at face value via Ticketmaster.
