About this adventure
The Great Raleigh Trolley's Cocoa & Caroling tour is a 60-minute holiday sing-along on board a vintage-style trolley that loops around downtown Raleigh to see the most popular holiday sights. Each ticket includes a cup of hot cocoa, and the guides lead a car full of families through favorite Christmas carols; the company encourages everyone to come in their coziest Christmas-morning pajamas. The trolley company describes it as an all-ages choice, and children under 2 ride free on a parent's lap. Tours start and end at Tap Yard Raleigh on Automotive Way next to Pine State Coffee, where families should check in inside at least 15 minutes before departure; limited free parking is on site with more nearby, and food is welcome at Tap Yard but not on the trolley. The tour runs on select days from Dec 12 to Dec 23, 2026, with departures at 1:30, 3:30 and 5:30 pm, and tickets are $25 for anyone 2 and older. Several December evening departures are already sold out or nearly full, so book early. Bring a new, unwrapped toy for the company's Friends of Santa toy drive.
