About this adventure

During the 2026 Downtown Holiday Open House in Wake Forest, the Town offers free-standing reserved photo slots with Santa at the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce building on South White Street. To keep the line short, families sign up in advance for a time to arrive at the line-up, and the town photographs each child or family with Santa; the photos are posted for pick-up after 1 pm the following Wednesday, Dec. 9. Slots are limited and registration opens Monday, Nov. 9 at 10 am, so plan ahead. The open house itself runs 10 am to 6 pm the same day, with downtown shops and restaurants offering holiday crafts, sales and specials and a downtown holiday bingo card for families to fill in while they explore, making it easy to pair the Santa visit with a stroll through the historic downtown.
