About this adventure
Bring your carved Halloween pumpkins to Beech Bluff County Park's Harvest Hub the day after Halloween. In this drop-in workshop families learn the dirty details of composting and get hands-on with real compost, then donate their jack-o'-lanterns and other fruit and vegetable scraps to the park's composting system. Recommended for ages 5 and up with an adult; no registration needed — drop in any time between noon and 3 pm. Free.
