About this adventure

Holly Springs holds its Happy Holly Days Parade on the second Saturday of December, a mid-morning holiday parade along Main Street through downtown. Floats, marching bands, dancers, decorated vehicles, civic and church groups and local businesses all take part, which gives young children plenty to watch in daylight and lets families be home by lunch. Because the parade begins at 10 am on a Saturday it is a comfortable option for toddlers and preschoolers who struggle with evening parades in the cold. Bring chairs or a blanket and arrive early for a curbside spot on Main Street. Community groups can still apply to walk in the parade until November 20 (free for civic, non-profit and religious organizations; $275 for business entries).
