About this adventure

The Clayton Rotary Club and the Town of Clayton stage the Clayton Christmas Parade through downtown Clayton on the second Saturday of December, which in 2026 falls on December 12. Since 2025 the parade has started at 11 am, giving families a daytime parade rather than a cold evening one, and it follows the route introduced in 2025 around construction of the new Clayton High School; the organizers post the 2026 route map and road-closure plan on their site. Expect the usual hometown parade mix of floats, marching groups, community organizations and decorated vehicles, plus Santa. Bring folding chairs and blankets, arrive early to claim a curbside spot along Main Street, and check the road-closure map before you drive in. Groups that want to march can still register online.
