About this adventure
Halloween afternoon at the John P. 'Top' Greene African American Cultural Center. It starts with trunk-or-treating in the parking lot alongside the NC Black Women Empowered 50+ club, then moves indoors to a Pumpkin Parlor with three hands-on stations for young children: Pumpkin Seed Science, Pumpkin Pound-Away — tapping golf tees into a pumpkin with a mallet to build little hand muscles — and a pumpkin 'beauty parlor' for decorating. All ages are welcome and it is free, but the City asks families to register on RecLink.
