The City of Corona's annual Holiday Lighting Celebration fills the Historic Civic Center with festive lights, live entertainment and a visit from Santa Claus. Children can go sledding in real snow, meet favorite holiday characters brought to life by OBC Theater for photos, make holiday crafts in the Crafters Village and write a personal letter to Santa. A Holiday Express Train rides past the evening decorations, roaming holiday-themed entertainers circulate through the grounds, community groups perform on stage, and local artisan vendors sell stocking stuffers and keepsakes. The evening includes a holiday drone show. Corona Fire Department collects new toys for the Spark of Love toy drive at the event, so families can bring an unwrapped toy to donate. Event parking is in the main City Hall lot at 400 S. Vicentia Ave., with accessible parking at the Vicentia Activity Center (550 S. Vicentia Ave.); West 6th Street is closed between Vicentia and Buena Vista avenues during the celebration. Dress warmly and bring mittens for the snow area.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Read in a browser (built-in browser pass 2026-10-16); curl/WebFetch could not fetch this entrance. Time 4:00 PM is shown in the event-time field without a zone label; the same calendar widget showed 8:00 AM for the Nocturnal Animals hike, which matches that page's body text, so the widget renders event-local times. End time not published. Free status comes from the calendar's 'Free Events' tag.
