Palm Springs Art Museum's free Family+ day returns on Sunday, December 20, 2026, from noon to 4 pm, turning the museum into a creative hub for kids, teens and families. December's hands-on stations: build a maximalist hair bow with Evanelly Aguilar from ribbons, lace, rosebuds and patches; design theatrical makeup looks on a face chart with soft pastels, inspired by animal prints and insects, with Michelle Abundiz; and assemble and knot a stoneware wind chime to take home with Angel Prudencio. Family+ runs every third Sunday and is part of the museum's Youth Impact Vision initiative. Free to attend; drop in during the afternoon.
