About this adventure
Pumpkins in the Pines is SkyPark's fall festival in the San Bernardino Mountains near Lake Arrowhead, running the October weekends and Halloween. Families wander a park-wide pumpkin patch among the pines to choose a pumpkin to take home, paint pumpkins, guess the weight of the giant pumpkin in Santa's Yard and watch The Legend of Sleepy Hollow puppet show at the Magic Tree Theatre. Weekend entertainment includes a magic show, NorthWoods storytelling, Kids Imagine Nation, the Monster Mash light show and a Fantasy Forest night walk, plus the park's regular rides and attractions. On Halloween the park adds its Spooky Spectacular, with trick-or-treating starting at 4 pm. It works for toddlers through tweens and makes a full day out; the mountains are chilly, so bring layers. Admission is by SkyPark day ticket or annual pass, and every guest signs a waiver.
