Planes of Fame's monthly first-Saturday event: museum doors open at 9:00am, a Hangar Talk runs 10:30am–12:00pm, and at 12:15pm the featured aircraft is started, taxied directly in front of the crowd and flown, followed by Q&A with the pilot; the museum stays open until 4:00pm. November 7 features the Lockheed P-38J "Lightning" together with the 9th Annual Ed Maloney Scale Model Contest; December 5 features the North American B-25J "Mitchell". Regular admission is in effect; members are always admitted free. "A great way to spend the day for the whole family."
