About this adventure
Barstow Branch Library hosts its Library Winter Luau on Saturday, December 19, from 10 am to noon. The county library's December special trades the cold for a beach party theme: staff read sunny, beach-themed stories, run group games for kids and set out tropical crafts, and children can win small incentives and prizes along the way. The library lists it for families with children of all ages, so preschoolers and school-age siblings can come together. Nothing on the event page mentions a fee or sign-up. It is one of the few December children's events in Barstow, and the two-hour window lets families drop in for part of the morning.
