The public Center & Gardens of the Annenberg estate in Rancho Mirage: desert gardens with walking paths, a visitor center, and a West Gardens performance circle used for free community programs. The Center & Gardens are open Wednesday through Sunday, 8:30 am to 4 pm (closed for a summer hiatus until September 9). Sunnylands' event pages state that parking and admission to the Center & Gardens are free and reservations are not required; ticketed tours of the historic house ($58.19) and Open-Air Experience ($30.11) are sold online only, with sales opening on the 15th of each month.
