About this adventure
The Sacramento Zoo in William Land Park schedules a handful of $10 Community Days through the year, and the last one of 2026 falls on Wednesday, December 23, during school winter break and the day before the zoo closes for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. On community days admission is $10, which makes it a good day for families with several children or for a first zoo visit with toddlers. Expect bigger crowds than a usual winter weekday, so arrive early and plan on street or park parking around Land Park.
