About this adventure

AAC Storytime at Roseville's Maidu Library is built for children and adults who communicate with Augmentative and Alternative Communication, such as speech devices, signs or core boards. A speech-language pathologist reads children's books and models AAC words and phrases as she goes, creating chances for everyone to join in through gestures, signs and core boards as well as speech. Although picture books are read, all ages are welcome, so older AAC users and their families can come too. Sessions last half an hour, 5 to 5:30 PM on the last Wednesday of the month; the remaining 2026 dates are October 28 and December 30. It is free and needs no registration.
