Franklin Library in Elk Grove holds Family Movie Time on the third Friday of each month. In December the film is Abominable (rated PG), about three teenagers who help a Yeti return to his family. While watching, families can enjoy snacks and build their own endangered animal or yeti craft. The screening and craft take about two hours; the room holds 100. The program is supported by the Friends of the Sacramento Public Library.
