About this adventure

On the third Tuesday of each month at 3:30 PM, trained therapy dogs settle in at Rocklin Library so children can practice reading aloud to a calm, patient listener. The program is for kids 5 and up and is meant to build reading confidence and fluency: a dog doesn't correct mistakes, which helps hesitant readers relax. Bring a favorite book or pick one off the shelf when you arrive. Each session is scheduled for an hour. No registration is required. Upcoming dates in this listing are November 17, December 15 and January 19.
