About this adventure

Granite Bay Library hosts Read to a Dog on the first Saturday of each month at 10:30 AM, pairing young readers with gentle therapy dogs. Reading aloud to a dog is low-pressure practice for children 5 and up who are still building fluency or feel shy reading to people, and the library frames it as a confidence builder as much as a reading lesson. Kids can bring their own book or grab one from the children's shelves. No registration is needed. Coming dates: November 7, December 5 and January 2; each session is scheduled for an hour.
