The Auburn Library, Placer County Library's main branch on Nevada Street, hosts Builders Club on one Wednesday afternoon each month. Children get that month's LEGO building challenge or are free to design their own creation with the library's bricks. Sessions run 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. after school on October 21, November 18 and December 16, 2026 (the series continues on January 20, 2027). No registration is required and the program is free, so families can stop in on the way home from school. The library lists toddlers (18–36 months), preschoolers (3–5 years) and school-age children (5 and up) as the audience, making it a good fit for siblings of different ages; toddlers should come with a caregiver. The Auburn branch is open weekdays until 6 p.m. (5 p.m. Fridays), so there is time to check out books after building.
