Placer County Library's Builders Club invites LEGO fans to the Rocklin Library once a month to tackle that month's building challenge or create a design of their own. The library supplies the bricks; children simply drop in, since no registration is required. Sessions run for one hour, 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., on Saturdays: October 24, November 28 (Thanksgiving weekend) and December 26, 2026 (the day after Christmas), with the series continuing monthly into 2027. The library lists the audience as toddlers (18–36 months), preschoolers (3–5 years) and school-age children (5 and up), so it works for mixed-age siblings; younger builders will need a grown-up alongside. It is a low-key, free way to spend a winter-break afternoon on open-ended building, problem solving and creativity. The Rocklin Library is the two-story county branch on Granite Drive and is open Saturdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., so families can also browse the children's collection before or after.
