On selected Saturday afternoons, Orangevale Library sets out a wide range of art supplies and lets families, kids and teens make whatever they want: paintings, modelling-clay sculptures, marker drawings, air-brushed pieces and mixed-media projects. It is open-ended rather than a guided craft, so toddlers can scribble while older kids attempt bigger projects. Sessions run two hours and are funded by the Friends of the Orangevale Library; no registration is listed. Dress for mess.
