About this adventure
Arden Park Recreation and Park District teams up with Top Hand Ranch Carriage Company, the outfit that runs the sleigh rides through Sacramento's Fab 40s, for 25-minute horse-drawn sleigh rides through the decorated Arden Park neighborhood. Rides leave from Arden Park every half hour from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. each evening from Saturday, December 12 through Saturday, December 19. Each sleigh holds up to 4 adults and 2 children, so a booking covers a family group; the fee is $85 for residents and $100 for non-residents. Registration opens Monday, November 9 at 9 a.m. online and at the Arden Park office, and the district expects the limited slots to sell out quickly. Dress warmly and bring a blanket.
