Downtown Woodland's annual lighted holiday parade rolls down Main Street, between West Street and 5th Street, on Saturday, December 12, 2026. The parade steps off at 4:00 p.m., right at twilight, and runs until every entry has finished the route, which the Woodland Chamber of Commerce estimates at about 6:00 p.m. This year's theme is "Tinsel, Twinkle, and Tradition," and entries include festive floats, marching bands and community groups, all required to be fully decorated and brightly lit for nighttime viewing. Families watching from the curb should know the parade has a strict no-throwing rule: nothing is tossed from floats, but walkers alongside entries may hand small items directly to spectators at the curb. There is only one Santa in the parade, and he rides with the Chamber's own entry. No spectator fee is listed; the registration link on the page is for parade entries and sponsors, not spectators. Bring warm layers, since it is a December evening outdoors, and arrive early to find a spot along Main Street.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Read from the Woodland Chamber GrowthZone event page. 'Free to watch' inferred from a public street parade with registration only for entries/sponsors; no spectator fee is printed. End time is the Chamber's estimate.
