City Cruises runs one-hour holiday sightseeing cruises on the Sacramento River from Old Sacramento on December weekends. Families are greeted with a complimentary cookie and hot cocoa, background holiday music plays, a coloring area offers holiday-themed sheets for kids, and a costumed character is on board for photos. Boarding is at the L Street Dock between K and L Streets, reached by ramp, stairs or the Delta King elevator. Advance reservations are recommended; the on-site booth takes credit cards only.
