About this adventure
A monthly second-Saturday program pairing books and nature for children aged 5 to 8. Each one-hour session has its own theme, brought to life through stories, a hands-on craft or activity and, now and then, a visit from one of the nature center's animal ambassadors, a combination meant to build early literacy alongside curiosity about the outdoors. A guardian must stay and take part. When booking, families list how many children are coming so materials are ready, and parking passes for the nature center are handed out at check-in. Tickets are priced per family: $15 general, $10 for member families (plus a small service fee).
