About this adventure

Tahoe Ice Arena is South Lake Tahoe's NHL-size ice rink, owned by the City of South Lake Tahoe and run by Tahoe Sports Entertainment. Public skate sessions are held every week and are open to beginners and experienced skaters alike; no reservation is needed, but every skater signs a liability waiver. Hockey and figure skates can be rented, and Skate Helpers are on hand for first-timers. Children 4 to 10 pay a lower rate than adults, and kids 3 and under skate free. Session times change from week to week, so check the arena's daily ice schedule before you go. The arena also runs Learn to Skate classes for children 12 and under and youth hockey programs.
