Sac Gamers Expo, a video game convention founded in 2015, has moved to Cal Expo for this year's show. The organizers describe it as a family-oriented event for all levels of gamers. The weekend features voice actors, industry guests, content creators, game developers and artists, along with more than 100 exhibitors selling video games and trading card games. Visitors can enter video game tournaments, play free games on the many consoles set up around the hall, see museum displays and take part in cosplay. Hours are 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday, October 31 and 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday, November 1. Children 10 and under enter free; general admission is $30 on Saturday, $25 on Sunday or $40 for both days, with tickets sold online or at the gate. Parking is $10.
