STEM Saturday is a monthly hands-on science, technology, engineering and math program at Placer County Library's Granite Bay branch, aimed at children ages 5 to 10 together with their caregivers. Each session introduces a STEM theme for kids and grown-ups to explore side by side. The remaining dates this season are Saturdays November 21 and December 19, 2026, and January 16, 2027 (MLK weekend). Registration is required through the library's LibCal page, which showed 69 seats available when checked. The event page lists the session as in-person at the Granite Bay Library on Douglas Boulevard, but it prints the time as '2:00 AM – 3:00 AM' and also carries online-event boilerplate, so the real start time needs to be confirmed with the branch before you go (the branch is open Saturdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.). It is free and a good fit for early-elementary children who like experiments and building.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation

LibCal page prints 'Time: 2:00 AM - 3:00 AM' (clearly a data-entry error; iCal shows 10:00 UTC) and says both 'In-Person' and 'online event URL will be sent' — time left null and availability needs_confirmation. Address from the county facility page (curl_cffi).
