On Halloween afternoon, the performance duo Voice of the Wood — artists Heidi Bekebrede and Dianna Craig — bring stories to life for children and families in the Blanchard Room of the Davis branch library. Their shows combine sound effects, dramatic narration and masked movement, so even young children who are not yet reading can follow along. This one-hour Halloween show is free and is a calm, indoor way to start Halloween before trick-or-treating. Costumes are welcome on the day.
