About this adventure
The Winters Runners and Walkers Club's seventh annual Halloween fun run fills downtown Winters with costumed runners on the Sunday before Halloween. Children have their own 1-mile Kids Monster Dash at 9:30 a.m., run alongside a 1-mile adult race; earlier in the morning the timed 10K (8:00 a.m.) and 5K (8:10 a.m.) head out on a course open to regular traffic. Every finisher gets a custom medal, and there are individual and best-group costume contests across the races, so families who come dressed as a themed group have a shot at a prize. Online registration closed on October 23, but late registration and packet pick-up run Saturday, October 24, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. in front of Hooby's Brewing (9 E. Main Street) and on race morning from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Rotary Park.
