The Rocklin Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the city's tree lighting at Quarry Park on Saturday, December 5. It runs from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, and admission is free. At 4:00 the holiday market (including Junior Creator young vendors), food trucks and kids' activities open. Santa arrives at 4:30, when stage performances begin. The Santa line closes at 6:30 pm, or earlier if it gets long, so families who want a visit should arrive early. The tree is lit at 6:45 pm. Sponsors list giveaways of chili, hot chocolate, cookies and s'more kits, a Letters to Santa station and a winter workshop. The Chamber is collecting new socks for men, women, teens, children and infants in a giant stocking; bring donations to the event. The event happens rain or shine.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
The Chamber's 'Tree Lighting 2026' page says 'Saturday, December 5' without a year; the 2026 vendor application PDF confirms 'EVENT DATE: Saturday, December 5 | 4:00pm - 7:00pm | Quarry Park, Rocklin CA' with a 2026 heading. The street address comes from the Chamber's Atlas event record, which still shows the 2024 date. The phone and email are printed in the 2026 PDF.
