Potranco Branch Library and the Mays Family YMCA at Potranco, which share a site on State Highway 151, mark ten years of serving the Northwest Side with an all-day celebration. After a 10:30 am speaking ceremony, there is a magic show with balloon art at 11 am and, at 1 pm, poolside story time followed by a free swim in the YMCA's indoor pool (bring swimsuits). Children's crafts and other free family activities run through the day until 6 pm. A free adult nutrition class at 12:30 pm needs advance registration with the Y.
