Upcoming dates: Thu, Dec 10 · Thu, Jan 14
A playful reading hour for school-age kids at the Cortez Branch Library: children are invited to dress up — a fancy hat or a monocle is encouraged — and settle in with a drink, some nibbles and whatever book they are reading. Sharing what you are reading is welcome but not required, so it suits both chatty and quiet readers. The library recommends it for ages 6 and up. It meets monthly on Thursday afternoons from 4 to 5 pm; in this window on December 10 and January 14.
