Upcoming dates: Thu, Nov 19 · Thu, Dec 17
A monthly gardening club for kids at the Cortez Branch Library. Each session children plant seeds suited to San Antonio's cooler months and report back on how the seeds from the last meeting are growing, so it rewards coming back month to month, though newcomers can join at any session. It is intended for ages 12 and under, and children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult. Sessions run one hour on Thursday afternoons — November 19 and December 17 in this window. A simple way for kids to learn that fall and winter are planting seasons too.
