A no-pressure art club at the Cortez Branch Library on the South Side that celebrates 'bad art'. The point is to make art for fun without worrying about the result — children try materials and ideas freely, and nothing has to look good. Things can get messy, so wear play clothes. The library says it is intended for children 5–12, but all ages are welcome, so younger and older siblings can join in. The club meets on the first Thursday afternoon of the month; in this window that is December 3 and January 7, from 4 to 5 pm.
