Holidays on Jones: Artisan Market at SAMA

About this adventure

The San Antonio Museum of Art hosts a one-day holiday market on its grounds along Jones Avenue, with more than sixty local artists and makers selling handmade gifts — ceramics, jewelry, prints, botanicals, folk art, children's books from a local publisher and even pet treats. The museum promises family-friendly activities and live performances through the day, and food and drinks are sold on site. Entry to the market is free, so it is an easy Saturday outing to combine with a stroll on the Museum Reach of the River Walk, which runs behind the museum, or a visit to the galleries (separate admission). The vendor list is posted on the event page; the museum says it will add the schedule of activities closer to the date.
