About this adventure

A walk-through Christmas lights festival on the 6-acre Old West town set at Enchanted Springs Ranch on Highway 46 West outside Boerne (I-10 exit 540, then about three miles west). Families stroll past millions of lights and through light tunnels, play in machine-made falling snow, visit the Grinch Room, roast s'mores at the campfires and listen to local Texas musicians on the Silver Spur Saloon stage. Santa is at the Six Gun Saloon every festival night, and photos with him are free. For children there is a scavenger hunt, glitter faces and ornament making, and new barrel train rides for little ones; laser tag in the lights, mechanical bull rides and the food trucks cost extra. The festival runs on 15 select nights between Thanksgiving weekend and December 23, 5 to 10 p.m.; tickets are sold for a specific night, parking is free, and children 5 and under do not need a ticket.
