About this adventure

The San Antonio RoadRunners' annual Thanksgiving-morning race starts from The Rim Trailhead on Vance Jackson Road and has something for every age in the family. Children 10 and under can run the Li'l Pumpkin Dash, an untimed quarter-mile at 8:15 am, then join a parent on the 2-Miler (8:35 am, untimed) or the chip-timed competitive 4-Miler (8:30 am, the only event with awards). Every finisher gets a medal, and 2- and 4-Mile entrants receive a long-sleeve tee or hoodie in kids' and adult sizes. Virtual 2- and 4-mile options run through December 15 for families who are traveling. Part of each paid adult registration goes to the 2026 charity partner, Street2Feet, which uses running to support people experiencing homelessness in San Antonio. Race-day packet pickup is 7 to 9 am.
