Valley Center farm's pumpkin patch, a tradition since 1963: pick Big Mac and specialty pumpkins from the field. Daily in October: tractor hayrides, straw maze, pony rides, petting corral, corn pit and bounce house; weekends add face painting, rock climbing, kids 'n paint, mechanical bull, inflatable slide, live music and food vendors. Fall Friday Festivals on Oct 16 and 23 (3:30–6:30 p.m.) add live music and extra activities with free parking and admission. Activity tickets sold at the ticket booth; the farm zoo is free year-round. Leashed dogs welcome.
