Nature center beside the 220-acre Buena Vista Lagoon Ecological Reserve in Oceanside, built by Buena Vista Audubon Society in 1987 with an upstairs viewing deck added in 2014. Interpretive displays on local wildlife, a natural history library, small gift shop, nature trail and garden. Hosts a monthly preschool Nature Storytime, birding walks and family programs. Staffed by volunteers; call ahead.
